Kudos, to the whole team, Hanumantha.

Every bit of the performance had something new, starting from music, choreo, visualization, BG, costume. The credit goes to Mam kousalya Nivas, this production will definitely ramble across.

The team has definitely evolved, and proving themselves as a better artist, especially, the asuris team while teasing around Seetha, were quite natural and broke the stereotype expressions.

All the best MSN team for more of such productions and outstanding performance ahead.

Every time I am part of this production, I experience a sense of divine energy that is hard to put into words.

It was inspiring to witness the dedication and talent of all the students of Kousalaya Ma’am, who have been trained to uphold the highest standards of professionalism on stage. Every individual, both on stage and behind the scenes, contributed immensely to the flawless execution of this dance production.

The audience’s joy was palpable, and their standing ovation was a testament to the team’s hard work. Despite the heavy rains in Bangalore, the auditorium was packed on a Saturday evening — a true reflection of the love for art.

My heartfelt best wishes to the entire team of M.S. Natyakshetra — may you continue to grow by leaps and bounds.

Kouslaya Nivas & Nivas – Huge thanks, for inviting me to the unforgettable “Sree Rama Hanumantha” show. 🌸
It touched my heart — blending the wisdom of “(Ramayanam) Hanuman Part of Rama life” we heard from our grandparents with today’s issues like river pollution, beautifully portrayed through the “Jeeva Nadhi” concept. Every student, guru, and contestant gave a mesmerizing performance. 🙏

This was a dream come true for me, and it truly made my day. I’m eagerly waiting for the next one — and I hope my daughters will get to be part of such magical events too. ❤️

A Divine Spectacle: “Sri Rama Hanumantha”

9th Aug evening’s presentation of “Sri Rama Hanumantha” by MS Naatyakshetra was not merely a performance; it was a transcendent journey into the heart of the Ramayana. From the moment the curtain rose, the audience was swept into a realm of myth and devotion that left us utterly spellbound.

The program began with a gentle yet captivating introduction of Bala Hanuman. This serene start set a beautiful tone, only to be followed by the earth-shaking and truly grand entry of Hanumantha the Balavantha, a moment that sent goosebumps through the entire hall. The dancers, through their powerful enactment, brought to life the entire program. Hanuman’s humble meeting with Lord Rama and Lakshmana, paving the way for the epic saga to unfold.

The choreography masterfully depicted Hanuman’s awe-inspiring flight to Lanka, his encounters with the demons Sirasa and Sinkini, and the subsequent havoc he wreaked on Lanka. The blend of music, narration, and stunning visuals created an immersive experience, making it feel as though the great epic was unfolding before our very eyes.

The supreme Ravana’s powerful presence and commanding performance captivated the audience’s minds, a perfect counterpoint to the sublime and heart-melting grace of Janaka Kumari (Sita). The dancer’s portrayal of Sita was so profound that the Ashoka Vana scene felt incredibly real, as if we were watching a true reincarnation of the divine princess. The scene where Hanuman saves Sita from suicide was particularly poignant and emotionally charged.

The true genius of the narrative was revealed in the utterance of the words, “Kandaen Seethaiyai” This 12th-century Tamil verse by the poet Kambar, meaning “I saw, Sita” was not just a report; it was a deeply emotional declaration of love. It perfectly encapsulated Hanuman’s devotion and wisdom, offering instant relief and hope to Lord Rama.

The meticulous details in the choreography were a feast for the eyes. The finer depiction of the stones floating on the sea waters as the Vanaras built the Ramar Sethu, and the subtle movements of the Rama Sena marching across it, were details that simply could not be missed. The battle scenes with the Lankan asuras were breathtakingly powerful, but the emotional climax came with Lakshmana being rendered unconscious by the weapon of Indrajit. The bone-melting song performed by Lord Rama in that moment was an unforgettable masterpiece of emotion and music. Indrajit was in full swing terrified the stage.

Hanuman’s flight to the Himalayas and his triumphant return with the Dronagiri mountain, bearing the Sanjeevani herbs, was a powerful symbol of unwavering faith and pure-hearted resolve. It beautifully reinforced the moral of the Sundara Kanda: that a single individual, armed with faith and courage, can achieve the impossible.

The program concluded with a vibrant Thillana and a deeply moving Mangalam. These final dances were a visual and spiritual feast, leaving the audience with a great sense of humility, devotion, and a rekindling of inner strength and courage. The entire experience felt like a transcendence to a different realm.

Thanks to MSN for the superb organization and a performance that truly left every individual with a great deal of satisfaction.

Sri Rama Hanumantha was a truly blissful and enchanting experience. For the very first time, I had the opportunity to witness a theatrical dance performance, and the fact that it was based on the epic Ramayana made it all the more thrilling and memorable for me. I came to know about this performance through my friend anantha, who played the role of an Asura. From the impressive costumes to the seamless coordination, from the graceful dance movements to the powerful expressions every aspect of the production was nothing short of extraordinary.

What left me most spellbound was Kousalya ma’am’s portrayal of Hanuman. She represented the character with such brilliance that at no point did I feel Hanuman was being portrayed by a woman. Her every movement, gesture, and subtle expression radiated strength, devotion, making her the true highlight of the performance. Equally delightful was the young girl who played little Hanuman. Her agile dance steps, innocent charm, and captivating expressions instantly won the hearts of the audience. The actress who played Seetha also delivered a deeply graceful and moving performance, adding to the richness of the entire act.

Each member of the cast was perfectly suited to their role, and together they created an unforgettable spectacle. I feel truly grateful and fortunate that my friend invited me, allowing me to witness this magnificent performance.
